About the Role
We are seeking a motivated and compassionate Strengthening Families Facilitator to lead and support the delivery of evidence-based whānau programme. This is a part-time role that combines facilitation, coordination (lead agent responsibilities), and administrative duties to ensure the successful implementation of the Strengthening Families approach.
The successful candidate will work collaboratively with whānau, agencies, and community partners to support positive outcomes for children and whānau.
Requirements
Key Responsibilities
Programme Facilitation & Lead Agent Duties
Act as the Lead Agent for Strengthening Families, coordinating multi-agency support for whānau.
Facilitate Strengthening Families meetings and ensure whānau voice and strengths are central to all planning.
Work in partnership with whānau, agencies, and stakeholders to develop and implement whānau plans.
Build and maintain strong relationships with government, non-government, and community organisations.
Monitor progress and outcomes for whānau, ensuring plans are reviewed and updated as needed.
Ensure culturally responsive and inclusive practices are embedded in all interactions.
Administrative Responsibilities
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records, case notes, and documentation.
Coordinate meeting schedules, invitations, and communications with agencies.
Manage data entry.
Ensure confidentiality and compliance with relevant privacy legislation and organisational policies.
